With a destination as fashionable as France, it is only natural that its national carrier must be the most stylish first class cabin in the sky. Air France’s new first class seats and passenger experience, named La Premier (meaning) First Naturally in the French, after its inaugural flight on 8 April, 2025, is flying daily between Paris and New York.
In addition to New York, the new first class will gradually be made available on flights to Los Angeles, Singapore and Tokyo-Handa this year. The carrier plans to resume the selection of its Boeing 777-300er aircraft in the coming months, which rolls out the updated seats in the business class, premium economy and economy cabin, besides elevated la premre products, with four first-class seats.
The arrival of the latest La Premier Cabin arrives at a good time: the trends of today’s travel are fantastic, private and bending towards one type of experiences, a moment that is well prepared to meet Air France. Air France-KLM CEO Benjamin Smith said, “Starting in the economy cabin and going all the way to La Premier, we can do our cabins and our services best.” Konde Nast Traveler“Our customers are growing more sophisticated and sensible, so we are developing Air France product to meet those demands.”
I got the opportunity to experience the latest first-class seat in Air France-not in an invitation-care program in New York City this week where the attendees were able to experience a working version of the seat.
The new la Premier suite is about ten feet in length and has two seated areas: one forward seat and a long, rear-faceing chase lounge-your travel is perfect to relax, work or eat with your journey, if you have one in the cabin. A touchscreen tablet controls all seat functions: chasing in a true bed, two meters (six feet and five inches); Adjusting light sources and colors on five windows; And navigating in-Flight entertainment displayed on two 32-inch 4K screen on either side of the suite.
To give the space a light, airer feel, the overhead compartment has been removed; Carry-ons can be stored in a large side compartment instead of the goods that can fit a small suitcase and an individual item. The chase has a compartment for shoes, and a small locker next to the front seat has a mirror and noisy headphones-but the suit also comes with Bluetooth connectivity, if you use your devices rather. Operation is an air: No matter within the USB port and traditional power outlets that you sit in the suite.
The overall vibe of La Premier is considered the supremely and chic. The monochromatic palette of the cabin with red splashes is so french, yet attractive. Sitting in the suite, it felt more as if I had a modular in the hotel room in the elegant Paris, compared to the seat of an airplane. This French touch is also evident in the soft product: travelers receive pajamas designed by Jacquemus, the amenity kit is stocked with toilets by Sisli Paris, and food experience on the onboard was made under the direction of French star chef Daniel Bowl.
