Why is Sam’s club expanding now?
On the surface, it may look like a curious time to add new stores. It is common for people to spend until the fog lifts lifted, while nosing consumer spirit with concerns of tariffs and inflation.

Where is Sam’s club expanded in 2025?
Sam’s club announced that it would open three new stores in 2025. Here are new places:
- Grapewine, Texas
- Tempe, Arizona
- Lebanon, Tenasi
At the top of it, Sam’s club plans to break the land at seven new places. These stores will not open in 2025, but indicate a trend that the retailer is serious about opening 15 stores in a year.
The goal of adding new stores and re -preparing the existing people is to increase membership. US CEO Chris Nicholas said that the company aims to double its membership in the next 8-10 years.
Other warehouse clubs follow the same blueprint. Costco will add 28 new locations, while the BJ will open 25 to 30 new stores in the next two years, focus on new couples in Tenasi, Florida, Texas and Georgia.
