INSURTECH Company Oscar Health is bringing its technical-competent health plans to individuals in the Chicago region, who is thanks to a group of new health system partnership.
Edward-Almarasp Health, Loyola Medicine, Northeast University Health System and University of Chicago Medicine, Oscar Health will be available to customers starting in 2022 in association with individual and family plans of Oscar Health.
Regulatory approval pending, health plans will be available to individuals in cook, lake and dupage counties. Health plans will be available on Federal Health Insurance Exchange with coverage starting from January 1, 2022.
What is the effect?
In addition to gaining access to the network of Edward-Almarand Health, Loyola Medicine, Northeast University Health System and Network of University of Chicago Medicine, individuals purchasing partnership schemes will also be associated with the Oscar Health platform.
The platform equips members with a personal care team that helps them navigate their benefits, care for care and schedule appointments. It provides free primary care and almost clock care as well as discount on prescription drug.
INSURTECH companies use Oscar Health to attach patients to attach to companies such as technology and the cooperation of savings, efficiency and better health results provides risk-based, value-based care to engage provider.
“We are excited to partnership with Edward-Elamahrst Health, Loyola Medicine, Northeast University Health System, University of Chicago Medicine and other providers in the market, which are as cheap for residents of the Chicago region, as a way to reach more access to personal care,” Saying in a statement, senior vice-chairman of Oskar Health. “We know that the need is great and we feel well equipped to serve the Chicago region in collaboration with our provider partners.”
Huge trend
Oscar Health recently shared a similar partnership with the Miami Health System and Jackson Health System in Florida.
According to these partnerships, the company is also expanding its footprint to offer services in 22 states in 2022.
It has been a large year for Oscar Health. It became public in early 2021 and then launched its new business +Oscar.
Other names of INSURTECH include bright health and clover health, which also became public in recent months.
