Survey results, which we are sharing here in our second annual readers’ choice awards, provide valuable insight into which the provider shines when it comes to your everyday interactions and experiences with them. For each category, we have listed a composite winner who has earned the highest score. Apple Cash topped the chart as a peer payment tool from the favorite colleague of the readers this year, earning an average-average score for the criteria of all three surveys. To use Apple Cash for Peer-to-Per Payment, tap on Apple pay icon in the iPhone message app, enter the amount, and certify using face ID, touch ID or your passcode.
“Overall, my experience is positive,” says a reader. If you choose a standard transfer, there is no fee to transfer money from your Apple Cash balance, which takes one to three days.
For a quick transfer, the 1.5% fee is applied, with a minimum of 25 cents and a maximum fee of $ 15 per transaction.
Zele

Zele also earned high marks all around. Service is no longer a standalone app, but if your financial institution provides the zela, you can use it through your banking app to easily transfer from one checking account to another.
“I like Zele because it is direct,” a reader says. “I like to use the zel,” says another. “Zel is very straightforward and easy to use. In addition, it is really sharp in sending and receiving money.” Typically, zel transfer is immediate and they do not require transfer fees.
Venmo
Outstanding for:
The readers using Venmo mentioned their popularity among their friends and family members. According to the original company Payal, the app has around 90 million users.
Wenmo offers two options to transfer funds from your Venmo balance to your bank account: immediately for a fee of 1.75% of the transfer amount (with minimum 25 cents and maximum $ 25), or a standard transfer, which does not charge any fee, but takes one to three business days.
