In other places, seats have better ergonomics and new features, including additional two -inch recipes, AC power outlets, USB Type A and C charging ports, and Bluetooth audio connectivity. Swiss new ‘Swiss sense’ economy cabin

In summer in 2025, the Zurich-based airline Swiss is starting a new cabin concept called “Swiss Sense” in its long-lasting fleet, bringing the first class, business, premium economy and rehearsed cabins and new seats in the economy. Behind the aircraft, passengers will have more space for stretch out. “The new Swiss economy is comfortable and equipped with functional seats,” the airline notes on its site. “Customized design allowed to increase the seat pitch.” The seats of the new economy offer pitch up to 33 inches, which is one inch more than its current coach seats on its long -lasting aircraft. Passengers can also relax a 19 -inch width, plus six -inch repetition, USB charging port and an additional inch seat width for Bluetooth audio connectivity. Swiss Sense Cabin will debut on the airline’s new Airbus A350 jet, eventually rolling out for its current A330 and Boeing 777 aircraft.

Qantas starts the first nonstop flight route from Sydney to London and New York in 2027-and the airline is increasing the comfort routine in all cabins.

The Australian carrier Qantas is planning to take the long-hall trip to the next level when launching its “Project Sunrise” flights in Qantas 2027. The initiative will first start nonstop flights from Sydney to London and New York, which will ride on its new Airbus A350-1000 jet. All said, nonstop routes should protect passengers from about four hours at the time of travel, but they will definitely logging more time on the aircraft, stretching up to 22 hours over the flight time.

Over that type of time on the board, the airline focuses on increasing the comfort part in its four cabins. Qantas states that its A350-1000 economy cabin will offer the “largest seat pitch” of its fleet, which will be a clock at 33 inches. The seats will also be 18 inches wide, which will be a little ropyer compared to the seats of its other long -lasting aircraft. Other suitators in the new economy cabin include two USB-C charging ports per passenger, 13.3-inch entertainment screen with Bluetooth audio connectivity and an additional seat-back shelf for individual devices. Passengers of the economy have access to a “good area” in front of the cabin, where the flyers can move around, catch refreshments with a self-service pantry, and follow the guided stretching exercises. The first of the 12 aircraft is scheduled to be distributed in mid -2012.
